"My name is Tyra Hemans. I was born on October 5th 1998, therefore I am a Libra, and it also means that I am 20 years old. I love the color yellow. I'm from sunny Florida, and I am from Parkland, Florida to be exact. I graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School as well, and I am a Parkland survivor. On February 14th, 2018, 17 people from my school were murdered. 3 of them were people I knew: Meadow Jade Pollack, Coach Aaron, and Feis Joaquin Oliver. I became an activist for them. I want to help make my world safe again, that's who I am."
