Boy Meets Girl® Live to Inspire Feature: Kristin Hall
Who (or what) inspires you?
"I don't think there is an exact who or what to what inspires me. It's small things like seeing a cute look on someone I pass on the street, or a bold look I see on Instagram with a funny/witty caption. It's also tiny selfless acts of kindness I see in my everyday life or I read online can inspire me."
Causes you advocate for?
"The cause I advocate for right now and want to start to have a voice in is body image issues. When I was younger, I was bullied for having a thin body and a flat chest. I remember a moment where I would wear long sleeves in hot weather because I didn't want someone to point out my bony wrists. It's a horrible feeling to hate your own body. I want young girls and boys to know that beautiful bodies come in many sizes and shapes."
What do you love about the city you live in?
"I currently live in San Francisco, but I frequently go back to the city I grew up in which is Walnut Creek. I love Walnut Creek because my family is there, and downtown Walnut Creek is always nice to walk around and shop in. In San Francisco, I love the food and desserts there; there's always something to do in the city too."
